“Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.”
“Even the rich are hungry for love, for being cared for, for being wanted, for having someone to call their own”
I want you to be concerned about your next door neighbor. Do you know your next door neighbor?
If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one
- Mother Terasa
We are a sundry group of individuals who have come from different styles of life who work together towards the welfare of the needy all over India.
The needy in simple terms who are in need of basic requirements of life, just the basic requirements.
The Help2 serve mission is to assist the people in all fields which include medical, education, food, vehicle etc. Its goal is to serve the needy in all ways.
Our projects are global, non-profit, deliberate organization committed to the meticulous end of poverty. We opt to serve the humanity worldwide with the assistance of good hearts like YOU.
Serve Humanity is our goal.
Taking into consideration our main project the POVERTY IN INDIA, it is reducing but it is still a major issue.
The Rural Indians mainly depend on the vagaries of monsoon and the unpredictable agriculture incomes, while Urban Indians rely on various jobs that are lucrative.
Since our independence, the issue of poverty in our country has remained a prevalent concern.
So as to define what poverty really means, when a person finds it difficult to meet the minimum requirement of life, he or she is considered poor.
So our aim is to see that the needy gets his basic requirements. But unfortunately millions of people in India are unable to meet their basic requirements of life, and according to Government estimates in 2007 there were nearly 220.1 million people living below the poverty line.
But there arises a question does Help2serve would serve the above said millions of people. YES, but it is in our minds and hands. Though our hands could not reach those millions of needy people , at least we can reach a few thousands of them.
Since 1970 the Indian Government has implemented a number of programs to eradicate poverty, and to a great extent they were successful too. In such circumstances, why could we also do the same to some extent?
At the foremost we could take up eradication of poverty as our short term goal.
We don't impel or compel things upon others but we believe in those helping hearts. We work regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class, location, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background. We look forward in providing at least the basic needs of the people such as food, clothing, shelter and education for all the human beings.
Illiteracy is our Country’s next major issue. It has been a persistent problem.
Inspite of all the serious efforts taken by the Government, literacy in India is only 64.84 per cent and rest of the Indians are still doomed with the curse of illiteracy; consequently, they are caught up in the vicious circle of poverty, unemployment and hunger. Illiteracy is like a curse on mankind. This is to say that, the more the illiterate people in the country, the harder it will be for the country to develop.
No doubt everywhere in the country, political leaders are great mass movers and they have the potential to change the system. So, they should move the Indian masses towards the light of literacy. It is rightly said that action delayed is action denied. So let us start the action thinking it is not too late.
Speaking about food. In our country food is not scarce but rampant but the thing is that the produce does not reach the needy, in other words it is poverty and hence both are interrelated. It can also be reiterated that the scaling rise in the food prices has once again forced hunger to the top of the humanitarian agenda.
The United Nations said this week that 100 million people are now urgently at risk of not having enough food to eat -- and that includes people in each and every continent of the world. And so we are. Are we NOT!!!
The sad news is that there are ten million hunger-related deaths every year, half of them children, testify to our failure to achieve global food security. Over 850 million people remain trapped in the spiral of hardship that hunger imposes, a figure that continues to rise even amid the riches of the 21st century.
It is no wonder that the World Food Programme is striving to create a greater sense of urgency amongst international policymakers. But how far it is implemented. And hence help2 serve serves in these fields to meet the basic requirements of the needy.
Hence our dream to bring quality and light, through affirmative action, into the dark world of the needy is going to come true with al the helping hands your going to stretch.
